Although it has been some years since the UK stopped using gold coins as circulating currency, The Royal Mint still produce gold versions of everyday coins. These UK currency gold coins have the same dimensions and designs as their standard circulating versions but are struck in 22 carat gold. These beautiful coins are available in all seven denominations - £1, 50p, 20p, 10p, 5p, 2p, and 1p.
